JOB DESCRIPTION:

Southwest Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation is currently accepting applications for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. This position is based in our Corporate Headquarters in Brownsville and is responsible for maintenance of all facilities and grounds at the Cooperative’s headquarters, district offices, and substations. Additionally, this position supervises custodians in the district offices. This position is being opened internally and externally. A high school diploma, or the equivalent, is required.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Five years’ experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is also required. Ten (10) years’ experience in facilities maintenance and two years of supervisory experience are preferred. The applicant must possess a solid background in building trades and project management to include estimating, budgeting, contracting, scheduling, and purchasing.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

The applicant must be willing to work hands-on, make minor repairs, must also possess good oral and written communication skills, should be familiar with personal computers and Microsoft Office software, be able to manage others, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
