Listed below are some of the responsibilities of the job:

  • Create reports and spreadsheets that will better inform senior management in order that they may make more informed decisions when regarding pertinent matters.
  • Review system reports and ensure reconciliation of financial reports according to generally accepted principals of accounting and standards.
  • Assist with budget process, both capital and operations.
  • Assist in preparation and review of various reports and charts, which may include but are not limited to the following reports: TVA monthly financial and statistical, sales tax, revenue, etc.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and complete general ledger processing.
  • Prepare complex presentations, which may be utilized or reviewed by senior management and Board of Directors.
  • Prepare regulatory filings and reports, perform purchasing activities and assist in buying duties, prepare TVA reports, participate in internal audits, review general ledger for variances, and schedule/control flow of financial data.
