Mary McDuffa, a twenty-five year veteran of Florence Electricity Department, has been named Manager following the retirement of Richard Morrissey. McDuffa began her career at Florence ED as a co-op student from Auburn University. She most recently served as Senior Electric System Engineer before assuming this executive management role.
McDuffa’s predecessor, Richard Morrissey retired after a distinguished forty-seven year career with Florence ED where he also began as an Auburn University co-op student. During his tenure as Manager, Morrissey served on multiple committees including his most recent assignment to TVPPA’s Rates and Pricing committee. He also served on the board of directors for TVPPA and Seven States Power Corporation, helping steer both organizations through the last decade.
