TVPPA’s Research & Development Committee seeks local power company (LPC) participants for a dedicated Time of Use demonstration project.
This demo would showcase the effectiveness of a targeted rate to shift electric vehicle charging load from peak to off-peak, and the potential benefits to the customer (financial), LPCs (financial and distribution impacts), and ultimately to TVA (load-shifting and cost-reduction impacts), along with a reduction in carbon emissions by shifting to cleaner off-peak generation.
LPCs that might have interest in participating in such a demonstration project should complete this survey to express your interest and gauge your eligibility.
