Spots are still available to play at the Power Play Scholarship Association’s 29th annual golf tournament at the Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Miss.

A reception will be held on Sunday, September 22 at 5 p.m. CST, and the golf tournament will kick off the following day, Monday, September 23, at 8:30 a.m. CST.

Proceeds from the event fund scholarships awarded to children of public power company employees in the Tennessee Valley. Power Play Scholarship Association aims to recognize deserving students who demonstrate a commitment to academics and community service by providing scholarships to an accredited institution of their choice.

Power Play is sponsored by a partnership between Tennessee Valley Authority, TVPPA, and local power companies across the seven state region to help empower the leaders of tomorrow through education and opportunity.
