Lindsay Boyd, who served as the chief executive at two TVPPA-member utilities, passed away Aug. 6 at his home in Baneberry, Tenn.
A native of Rock Hill, S.C., Boyd was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He later earned an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering at North Carolina State University.
Boyd went on to build a career in public power, serving as general manager at Newport, Tenn., UB and, from 1992-96, in the same capacity at Columbia, Tenn., P&WS.
